Public Transportation

Bus and rail schedules are available at the information desks in the tower lobby of Inova Fairfax Hospital or in the Inova Children's Hospital/Inova Women's Hospital lobby.

Metrobus and Fairfax Connector buses stop at the Green Garage near entrance 1.

Metro - rail & bus

• The Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metrorail station (Orange line) is located on Gallows Road, two miles north of the hospital campus
• Several Metrobus lines connect the hospital campus with major Northern Virginia locations, including the Dunn Loring-Merrifield metrorail station
• Use the WMTA trip planner to get custom directions and timetables.

Fairfax Connector

One route of the Fairfax Connector bus system includes a stop at the hospital campus.

Fastran

A subsidized service for Fairfax County residents, Fastran provides transportation to health care appointments for those who meet income guidelines. Confirmation of eligibility is required in advance. Call 703-222-9764.

Taxi service

Fairfax Yellow Cab (703-534-1111) maintains taxi hotlines in the hospital's Tower lobby near the gray elevators and in the Inova Children's Hospital/Inova Women's Hospital lobby near the vending machines.
