It's Earth Day 2019 at Inova
Each year, Inova is proud to support Earth Day and the movement to minimize our environmental impacts. We recognize that the health of our environment is directly related to the health of our employees, patients and community, and are committed to using environmental sustainability as a tool to create healthier communities.
Since our initial Earth Day Fair in 2008, Inova has distributed more than 4,000 native tree seedlings to members of the local community. Resources on the trees distributed at the 2019 Earth Day Fair are available below, along with a guide to planting and caring for your tree seedling.
If you participated in an Earth Day event at Inova this year or in previous years, we would love to hear your thoughts and see your pictures. Photos of previously planted Inova Earth Day trees are especially welcome. Please direct emails with feedback or pictures to gogreen@inova.org.
