About Inova's sports medicine program

Besides superior surgical treatment, our physicians also offer a vast array of non-operative services, including ultrasound guided platelet rich plasma and stem cell injections, hydrodissection, bracing, and education regarding home exercise programs. Our physical therapists provide a broad range of treatment including muscle re-education, manual therapy, dry needling, and blood flow restriction training. The EXOS certified dietician works directly with athletes to develop a customized meal plan, and the strength and conditioning coaches offer training to help athletes prevent injuries and improve their performance. They have a bridge program that helps to transition an injured athlete back to competition. Our goal is to keep you or get you back in the game, stronger and better than before.
