Dedicated Thoracic Oncology Nurse Navigator
One of the special features of the Lung Cancer program is the role of our Thoracic Oncology Nurse Navigator, Carrie Friedman. Carrie expedites patient visits and diagnostic studies. She ensures a timely and accurate exchange of information throughout a patient’s diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Support Groups
Join other patients, survivors, family members and friends to discuss the challenges of living with lung cancer and its treatments. Specific topics change throughout each support group meeting.
The Lung Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month:

Rehabilitation
Inova VNA Home Health provides rehabilitation services to help patients recovering from cancer gain back strength and return to day-to-day activities.
