Gynecology patient care navigator

Christine Bloom, MSN, BA, RN, is the Gynecology Patient Care Navigator for Inova Women's Hospital on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. Christine’s role is to ensure women on the GYN floor receive the care and have access to the resources they need in a timely and efficient manner.

With over 23 years of experience in nursing, education, leadership and navigation services, Christine uses a hands-on approach with her patients. Christine is dedicated to guiding her patients and their families through the health care continuum no matter the stage of life, providing coordinated care by developing, monitoring and evaluating their interdisciplinary care regimens.

Acting as a bridge between the physicians, nurse practioners, nurses, adjunct services and the patient, Christine also provides tips on dealing with treatment regimens and makes sure patients stay on track with their treatment plan – all while offering emotional support. Christine received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and her Associate’s degree in nursing from Marymount University. She received her Master’s degree in nursing from George Mason University.
