Biography

A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr Psotka completed his training in internal medicine, cardiology, advanced heart failure, transplant, pulmonary hypertension, and clinical research at the University of California San Francisco. In addition to managing advanced systolic heart failure, heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, and pulmonary hypertension, he directs the Infiltrative Cardiomyopathy Center and Right Ventricular Failure Program at the Inova Heart & Vascular Institute.
