What is HELP at Inova Loudoun Hospital and how can I volunteer?

The Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) works to improve the hospital experience by preventing delirium and functional decline in older patients. HELP volunteers visit patients three times a day, seven days a week at no charge. We work closely with nurses and physicians to support patients 70 years and older who have some risk factors for delirium or function/cognitive decline. If you're interested in volunteering for this particular program, please contact James Worfolk, james.worfolk@inova.org or 703-858-6547.
