Emergency Department Rapid HIV Testing
HIV testers work in two emergency departments in Northern Virginia – Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital. They offer tests to as many emergency department patients as possible.
HIV testers are also responsible for linking preliminary positive patients to appropriate care whether they are newly diagnosed or lost to care.
These locations offer FREE testing for current emergency department patients with confidential results in as little as 20 minutes. Services are available based upon the testers' schedules.
