1. How does Inova BackNET interact with my employees?
After the registration is completed, an Inova BackNET care manager/coach contacts the participant within 3 business days by email. Work begins immediately to guide participants through 12 sessions of learning and activities related to healthy back care. An online assessment and participant back pain journal helps the care manager develop an individualized behavioral plan. Proactive weekly emails from the care manager encourage and support each participant as she/he incorporates new back-healthy activities into daily life.

2. Is there a minimum number of employees that must enroll?
No, the fee for the program is calculated per person for 12 sessions of participation.

3. What am I, the employer, responsible for?
Employers work with Inova BackNET to provide a wide range of customized promotional campaigns directed to promote awareness and utilization of the program and services it provides. Ongoing promotion is crucial to the success of the program.

4. How does Inova BackNET protect confidentiality of participants?
Maintaining confidentiality is crucial to the success and credibility of all Inova BackNET programs. Inova BackNET will not release information to anyone outside of Inova BackNET without the written authorization of the employee, unless required by law, or the employee presents imminent danger to themselves or others.
