Auxiliary of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

The Auxiliary of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is the largest corps of volunteers serving the hospital. First organized in 1956, while the hospital was still in the planning stages, interested citizens worked together to raise funds to help make the hospital a reality.

When you join the Auxiliary today, you are joining an organization of about 900 volunteer members whose mission is to provide quality volunteer services, support and financial resources to the hospital, its patients and the community.

As part of its fundraising mission, Auxiliary volunteers staff our onsite gift shops and community-based Treasure Trove resale stores. Proceeds from these retail operations support programs and services on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. Most recently, the Auxiliary donated $1.5 million toward the hospital’s South Patient Tower and $1.5 million toward the Inova Women’s Hospital and Inova Children’s Hospital.

Annual Auxiliary scholarships

As part of our commitment to support quality healthcare for our community, the Auxiliary scholarship program is designed for eligible persons to encourage and assist their pursuit of healthcare careers.
