The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a nationally-acclaimed, full service emergency room for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital (Loudoun County's only designated trauma center).

This facility is open year round, 24/7, and staffed with a highly trained team of board certified and board eligible emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, and emergency nurses who are equipped to care for patients in any emergency situation.

Ambulance and helicopter transports are immediately available for the most serious injuries and illnesses that require transfer to a higher level trauma center or specialty care.
