Connecting Children to Healthcare Services
Every child deserves to attend school healthy and ready to learn. Partnership for Healthier Kids (PHK) is one of several community health-improvement initiatives of Inova's Community Services Division. Partnership for Healthier Kids is designed to identify uninsured children and connect them to an appropriate and affordable source of quality healthcare services through programs like Medicaid, CHIP and local safety net providers.
All PHK staff members are bilingual in English and Spanish and have access to a translation line.
Collaborating with local schools
Partnership for Healthier Kids works closely with the public schools in the counties of Prince William, Fairfax. and Loudoun, and the cities of Alexandria and Manassas. Since 1998 we have successfully connected more than 93,000 children to a source of healthcare services.
