Critical Care Orientation

The Critical Care Orientation program provides a foundation of practice for new critical care nurses. This program begins with a nine-day basic critical care course, followed by a precepted learning experience on the employee's assigned unit. At the conclusion of the precepted learning experience, additional classroom content is presented to advance the new clinician's practice. The length of the program is determined by the employee's unit-specific needs.
