A note about insurance

Please note: while Inova Traditional Chinese Medicine Center does not accept health insurance at the time of service, we can provide patients with the documentation (sometimes known as a "superbill") needed to submit the fees for possible reimbursement. Patients are able to use their FSA or HSA for their visits.

Standard Initial Visit – Summer Treat Special $99

Your Initial Consultation includes a thorough medical history intake, check of your vital signs, a review of previous lab and imaging reports (if available), a comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine evaluation, and treatment.

The Initial Consultation visit typically lasts about 90 minutes. The treatment portion of the appointment may include acupuncture, cupping, ear or body acupressure or other treatments depending on presenting conditions.

Should your visit take longer than the time designated, there will be a charge of $29 per 15 minutes. Add-on cupping or acupuncture treatment: $29 (for patients who need both acupuncture and cupping treatments during the same visit.)

Follow-Up Visit – Acupuncture or Cupping – Summer Treat Special $99

Follow-up visits include a brief review your medical history and progress, and a 30-minute Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment.

Should your visit take longer than the time designated, there will be a charge of $29 per 15 minutes.

INITIAL TCM TREATMENT PACKAGE: $279

• 1 Initial TCM Consultation & Treatment 
PLUS
• 2 follow-up TCM treatments (either acupuncture or cupping)

This special package cannot be combined with any discounts and must be used within 3 months of the purchased date.
