Biography
William has been with Inova Physical Therapy since 2014. In addition to working a full case-load, William spent his first 2.5 years as a resident through the Institute of Physical Art under the mentorship of Seth Blee. William studied Kinesiology at the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelors of Science degree prior to obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2014.
William has recorded over 300 continuing education units in his first 2 years at INOVA and is continuing to learn each day while mentoring students of his own as a clinical instructor for various physical therapy schools and universities. William has also volunteered at local tennis and baseball events as well as assisted in providing physicals and education to local high school athletes on injury prevention. William has also assisted pitching clinics and skills sessions for various little league organizations and has assisted in sideline sports management of injuries for the DC Divas. With a sports background of his own that unfortunately ended early due to a knee injury, William has a special interest in the athletic population, specifically injury prevention. Through educational lectures to the parents of the youth population as well as hands-on intervention, William hopes to decrease the amount of athletic injuries in the Northern VA community.
A native of Elkton, Maryland, William currently resides in Chantilly, VA with his wife, son and 2 dogs. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball and tennis as well as support his Maryland Terrapins sports teams.
