Biography

Thea is a licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia and Maryland. She attended the University of North Texas to pursue her undergraduate studies and earned a B.S in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She later graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The George Washington University. Thea is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) through the Virginia Chapter.

Thea started her career with Woodbridge Inova Physical Therapy Center in May 2017. Prior to joining the Inova team, she treated at outpatient orthopedic clinics with a focus on general orthopedics using manual therapy techniques. Since graduating, she has completed continuing education courses on the myofascial highways, pelvic floor rehabilitation (urinary incontinence and pelvic pain disorders) and trigger point dry needling. She obtained her dry needling (DN) certifications I and II through Myopain Seminars. Thea uses her free time to spend with her fiancé and friends. She enjoys dancing (mainly west coast swing, salsa and bachata) and working out (especially spin, yoga, hiking, and weightlifting).
