Biography

Ray graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in biology and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since graduation, Ray has spent his career working in outpatient orthopedics, working with a variety of injuries including sports, overuse and chronic injuries across the lifespan. He continues to expand his orthopedic knowledge by engaging in coursework, including utilization of the SFMA and diagnosis and treatment of vestibular dysfunctions.

Ray is actively pursuing a CSCS accreditation and looks to further his expertise and knowledge of treatment of athletic injuries through specialist certification in sports. Ray also enjoys community education on health and wellness and has participated in numerous outreach events including the Marine Corps Marathon and through local recreational centers.
