Biography

Mark graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009 with a B.S in Kinesiology. He then went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical therapy from Long Island University Brooklyn in 2012. He spent 2 years working in New York City at a manually specialized orthopedic clinic. The next 3 years he practiced manual PT in the orthopedic department of Howard University Hospital. As a manual therapist he uses a whole body approach to unlock existing potentials and enhance human function.

He is currently in the process of getting a Certification in Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) and will test for it in 2018. He also works as the residency administrator for the IPA. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, he advocates for physical therapy. He spends his free time researching, studying and facilitating continuing education for PT's. Outside of the clinic Mark enjoys the outdoors and athletics, both as a fan and as a participant.
