Biography
Lauren Doane graduated from James Madison University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and in 2010 with a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree. She taught middle school math in the Northern Virginia area for a couple of years before switching careers. Lauren worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for an outpatient sports rehab clinic prior to going back to school to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in order to provide more hands-on care. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2016 with her A.A.S degree. Lauren has had prior hands-on clinical experience in a variety of settings including: outpatient clinics, school setting (pediatrics), and inpatient hospitals.
She has a special interest in the management of sports-related injuries, specifically strength and conditioning concepts. Lauren is passionate about helping all patients reach their goals and providing quality care that helps restore patients' mobility and functional independence. Lauren is a native of the Northern Virginia area and still currently resides here with her family. In her spare time she enjoys working out, being active outdoors with her dogs, watching and playing sports, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
