Biography

Julie has been with Inova Health System since 2016 and has been a licensed physical therapist since 2015. She earned her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and her associate's from NVCC Medical Education Campus. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since being licensed. Julie enjoys collaborating with her colleagues and soaking up as much education as possible. She has completed continuing education on concussions and vestibular rehab, workers compensation and the injured worker, SICK scapula, taping/scraping/cupping, and UE and LE mobilizations specifically for the PTA, as well as being a part of neurologic and pediatric journal clubs and attending VPTA meetings.

In April 2018, Julie earned her certification in Aquatic Therapy through the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute. Also in April 2018, Julie earned her certification in Lymphedema Therapy through Klose Training. In her free time, Julie stays active with sports, family, and friends as well as giving back to the community.
