Biography
Jamese is a skilled Physical Therapist who loves getting patients better. Jamese graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2000. She later earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Jamese's interest in physical therapy started when she took an anatomy class in high school and discovered her fascination with the human body and how it worked. Jamese has clinical experience in a variety of settings including acute care/hospital, inpatient neuro rehab, and outpatient orthopedics.
She enjoys the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy the best. Jamese's clinical interests include post-surgical rehabilitation. Jamese's treatment approach emphasizes one-on-one patient-therapist time targeting her patients' specific impairments, followed by performance of therapeutic exercises to be performed in-clinic and at home which reinforce her hands-on techniques. She is committed to treating in a compassionate and caring manner, and based on the latest clinical evidence to ensure that her patients receive the relief they need to return to their daily functional and recreational activities with minimal restrictions.
