Biography
Caitlin joined INOVA Physical Therapy at our Ballston clinic with over 6 years of clinical experience. She is a board certified orthopedic specialist and has a special interest in injuries of the shoulder, hip, knee, and foot/ankle. She particularly enjoys working with sports medicine patients, in addition to pregnancy and post-partum related disorders. Caitlin also specializes in oncology rehabilitation and is a certified lymphedema therapist.
Caitlin is a native of Arlington, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She graduated with a B.S. in psychology with a pre-physical therapy concentration in 2006. Before attending physical therapy school, she worked as an aide for an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Northern Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 with a Doctor of Physical therapy degree.
While in graduate school Caitlin quickly developed a special interest in orthopedics. She began her career in Denver, CO and most recently served as a senior physical therapist at University of Colorado Hospital. She has completed advanced coursework in manual therapy, oncology rehabilitation, and breast cancer rehabilitation. Caitlin's goal in working with her patient is to maximize function and improve quality of life in all aspects. She is an advocate of injury prevention, evidence based practice, and an individualized approach to treatment.
Caitlin currently resides in Falls Church, VA and enjoys spending time at home with her son and pets, traveling to the beach, cooking, hiking, and skiing in her free time.
