Biography
Albert Pannone is a physical therapist who joined Inova Sportsplex in the summer of 2016. He has been practicing since 2014 and has worked in outpatient physical therapy centers in both Pittsburgh and Alexandria. Albert has a special interest in working with patients who have orthopedic and sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and vestibular disorders as well as athletic performance enhancement.
Albert has completed certification in Functional Dry Needling and Selective Functional Movement Assessment as well as completing coursework in Functional Manual Therapy. He is currently studying to become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist as well as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist.
Albert uses a goal achievement oriented approach to therapy with a strong emphasis on improving function and reducing long term risk for re-injury or loss of function. He has a strong focus on evidence based practice to promote a rapid and efficient return to higher levels function.
Albert currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and dog. In his spare time he enjoys weightlifting, reading, and playing both video and board games.
