Biography
Monique is a Physical Therapist for the INOVA Springfield clinic. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas and has experience across multiple venues to include: acute care, hospital inpatient, health/wellness programs, and private practice. The focus of her clinical practice at INOVA is in outpatient orthopedics, sports injury, and manual therapy.
Monique's passion is to give people back their spirit and drive after sustaining injuries and to educate and prevent others to avoid injuries in order to participate in activities they love through individualized patient care and physical therapy programs.
Monique received her Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in exercise physiology from the University of Arkansas, where she worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for collegiate athletes, weekend warriors, and geriatrics.
Once she decided to obtain a career in physical therapy she attended the University of Central Arkansas for her Doctorate in PT where she also achieved awards from excellence in research and excellence in service to her community. Monique also works outside of physical therapy as a health and fitness talent where she choreographs home workout programs for all levels of fitness and life. She enjoys anything outdoors, such as participating in half marathons and obstacle course races. She is a huge Razorback football and Saints fan, and also enjoys food, traveling, and being surrounded by her husband, friends and family.
