Inova Mount Vernon Hospital wants your surgery experience to be as convenient and pleasant as possible. Surgeries are performed Monday through Friday. We offer telephone or in-person pre-operative interviews and a registration area near our free valet parking. There’s even a canopy to shelter you while you settle into a vehicle for your ride home.
Your loved ones can relax in our bright, comfortable waiting area. Complimentary hot beverages are available.
Our surgical team performs inpatient and outpatient surgeries in state-of-the-art surgical suites. We offer minimally invasive techniques to reduce the discomfort and recovery time. In fact, because of the expertise of the surgical team, many procedures are now performed on an outpatient basis so that you can return home the same day.
A unique feature of our surgical team is the certified physician assistants that assist our surgeons in the operating room. Our team also includes outstanding anesthesiologists, perioperative nurses and certified surgical technologists. The teams work together using the latest technology to provide the highest quality of pre- and post-op care.
Our Anesthesiology Department at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital also provides pain management consultation and treatment.
