Neurological Rehabilitation Program

Neurological rehabilitation is available at Inova Mount Vernon, Inova Fair Oaks, Inova Alexandria and Inova Fairfax hospitals, as well as at Inova Physical Therapy Centers.

Neurological rehabilitation helps achieve day-to-day functioning and independence for patients affected by stroke, brain injury, spinal cord or neuromuscular disease.

At the Inova Mount Vernon Neurological Rehabilitation Program, the clinic houses a fitness center, private testing/treatment rooms, a vision training area and a fully equipped kitchen. Our interdisciplinary treatment team includes specialists committed to treating the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, perceptual and visual deficits associated with neurological dysfunction.

The Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitative Care Department now offers Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) BIG, a technique that addresses the unique movement impairments associated with Parkinson’s disease.
