Inpatient Support Programs
Inova offers highly specialized inpatient care for patients with advanced lung problems through a dedicated Acute Pulmonary Unit. We also offer a Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) which most often is activated through the emergency room, but it can also be activated by any attending physician to provide an immediate, integrated team-based response for evaluation and treatment of suspected or known PE.
