A New Hope for Treatment: Access to TAPUR
Now Available at Inova Schar Cancer Institute
Do you have an advanced cancer that is no longer responding to standard anti-cancer treatment?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in the Targeted Agent and Profiling Utilization Registry (TAPUR) study supported by the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
The TAPUR clinical trial evaluates whether approved drugs might work against cancers caused by different types of mutations. Patients’ tumors are analyzed for specific mutations. If any are found, the patient may be eligible to receive a drug targeted specifically for that mutation, regardless of the type of cancer it is.
All drugs are approved by the Food and Drug Administration for treatment of cancer. Enrolled patients have access to cancer drugs at no cost.
