Recognize a nurse or nurses by making them a "star" and support continuing education programs for nurses at Inova. Your Nursing Stars can include an individual nurse, all the nurses on a particular patient care unit at an Inova hospital or facility, or any nurse anywhere. It's up to you!

You can honor and/or memorialize nurses or former nurses you know, including family members and friends. The more Nursing Stars you name, the more you help all Inova nurses expand their knowledge and skills.

Group and individial Nursing Stars recipients receive special recognition and a star-shaped engraved lapel pin.

Giving Levels

Entire Patient Care Unit – $2,000

This choice lets you sponsor an entire patient care unit of nurses (specify a unit that was especially important to you or a loved one.)

Recognize an entire patient care unit

Individual Nurse – $100

Do you have a special nurse (or nurses) you want to honor? Nursing Stars receive special recognition and a special star-shaped engraved lapel pin.

General Sponsorship – any amount

You can support all of Inova's nurses with a general sponsorship pledge, which will help to support Inova's nursing education programs.
