How many applicants will be accepted into your upcoming residency class?

Two pharmacy practice residents will be accepted into our program in 2016.

When was your program developed?

The Inova Alexandria Hospital PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency was established in 2012. The program was reviewed and received the maximum-length ASHP accreditation in October 2014.

Where do residents live?

Residents typically prefer to live in close proximity to Inova Alexandria Hospital in the Alexandria, Arlington or Washington, DC, area (or within a ten-mile radius). The hospital is conveniently located near a major DC metro area freeway (I-395), which makes it accessible from all directions.

Is office space available for the residents?

Yes, residents are provided with office space. Computers are available in the residents' office.
