Susan T. Carroll, Chief Administrative Officer, Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

Susan Carroll, FACHE, MBA, MHA, is the Chief Administrative Officer of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Most recently, Susan served as acting president of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. Before that, she served as the Regional Executive Officer (REO) of Inova's Eastern Region.

Susan has previously served as the executive leader of Inova Alexandria Hospital, and vice president of Inova Cancer Institute and Inova Translational Medicine Institute.

A healthcare executive for 18 years and with Inova since 1998, she has also served as the executive leader at Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Susan has masters' degrees in health management and business administration and has been awarded the status of fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, the highest certification given to healthcare leaders. She is an advocate for cancer prevention and outreach, and in 2012 she was awarded the Champion Award by the National Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Society.

She lives in Ashburn with her husband, Matt, and their two boys, Turner and Cooper. The family enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time keeping busy with the boys' sports activities.
