Bert Reese joins Inova as the Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO). Bert has over thirty years experience providing leadership and advisement to top healthcare companies. His expertise is in the strategic leadership of executive teams and service line leaders to deploy solutions that utilize both data and client culture to integrate business, clinical, and financial services, thereby achieving reduced health costs, advanced care delivery, and improved population health. Bert has played an instrumental role in helping organizations earn national awards including Most Wired, Top 100 Innovations, Best Employer in Information Technology, HIMSS Analytics Stage 7, and Davies Award. 

Bert has served as a full professor to the Medical College of Virginia and is a sought-after industry and academic guest speaker. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Operations Research/Systems Engineering from The University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Norwich University in Vermont.
