Biography

Stefanie earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from New York University in 2011. She is an Air Force "military brat," raised mainly in the Northern Virginia area. She was always intrigued and fascinated by the human body, specifically in movement. Early on, she decided to pursue a career in dance, which led her to earn a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from George Mason University. The dance path, combined with her love of body, movement and form, lead her to become a personal trainer. She later went on to PT school. Physical Therapy merged all these loves together, in a great balance. In all of her areas of study, she has had the pleasure of meeting and working with a wide array of people – multi-cultured, diverse with various physical conditions, injuries, physical goals, challenges, and dreams.

She is dedicated to helping individuals improve their physical function, body movement and physical performance, to get to their personal best. Stefanie is specializing in shoulder rehabilitation, with a focus on orthopedics.
