Biography

Amanda Dickey is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board certified by AANP in family medicine. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 4 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in preventative health, episodic care, and management of chronic disease in both children and adults. Most recently Amanda worked in the urgent care setting providing episodic care to patient on a walk-in-care basis.

Mrs. Dickey became interested in primary care because she wanted to focus on preventive care and disease management. Her goal is to help her patients learn how to better equip themselves to take control of their health to prevent illness and disease so they achieve a better quality of life.

A native of Bangor, Maine, Mrs. Dickey currently resides in Aldie, VA with her husband and son. In her spare time she enjoys traveling both near and far. She stays active by jogging with her dog. She also likes to knit, but what she enjoys most is spending time with her family and friends.
