Biography

Dr. Umayam comes to Inova Medical Group with more than five years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in women’s health, chronic disease management, aesthetic and preventive medicine.

Dr. Umayam decided to practice family medicine because she wanted to provide continuing and comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive medicine services during a patient's entire lifetime. The favorite parts of her job are developing lasting relationships of mutual trust and respect with her patients and their families and making a difference in their lives. She enjoys singing, traveling, cooking and Zumba.
