Dr. Guirguis will provide a presentation on common types of urinary incontinence in females as they age. She will discuss surgical and non-surgical options for treatment. Dr. Stephanie McKenna will provide a look into pelvic floor physical therapy to improve pelvic floor strength and incontinence conditions.
A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

Urogynecologist
Inova Urogynecology – Loudoun
Dr. Marina Guirguis Hanna is a urogynecologist board certified in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2016.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Guirguis Hanna was a urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery fellow at Magee Women’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has experience in minimally invasive surgery and treats pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence obstetric trauma, and abnormalities of the urogenital tract. Dr. Guirguis Hanna’s clinical areas of interest include overactive bladder, urinary incontinence and quality improvement outcomes.
Dr. Guirguis Hanna is a fierce advocate of women’s health and chose to become a urogynecologist to improve the quality of life of the women in her community. She values the importance of the individualized patient experience and shared decision making. Dr. Guirguis Hanna speaks both English and Arabic and strongly values diverse and inclusive medical care.
Outside the office, Dr. Guirguis Hanna enjoys traveling, trying new food, playing her guitar and being outdoors.

Stephanie received her bachelor's degree with top honors in exercise science from Florida State University in 2012, where she competed as a collegiate swimmer. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2018 and has worked for Inova since 2019. Stephanie has a passion for treating and helping all individuals with pelvic floor and orthopedic dysfunction with a special interest in pre/postpartum and pelvic pain conditions.
Stephanie is now a leader in the pelvic floor physical therapy specialty section among Inova and aiming to advance the profession and inspire excellence in all clinicians.
