Thoracic Surgery Team

Inova's Thoracic Surgery team is made up of highly-skilled thoracic surgeons and interventional pulmonologists. Their focused expertise makes Inova's Thoracic Surgery Program stand out among medical centers both nationally and worldwide.

In addition to our expert surgeons, we are proud of our team of dedicated thoracic nurse practitioners. These experienced nurse practitioners help coordinate patient care from the time of surgery until the patient goes home. They are also surgical assistants who help our surgeons in the operating room and then seamlessly transition the patient's care to the floor nurse. Prior to entering specialized training to become nurse practitioners, they gained years of experience as clinical nurses in intensive care or the operating room.
